National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities. Each day, we will post about the ins and outs of how the Larchmont Public Library operates on a daily basis. We will cover everything fromordering books, placing holds, the shelving process, and more! We will also introduce our many departments along with their responsibilities. I don’t know if you know this, but not everyone who works here is a librarian!
We are so proud and lucky to have such devoted patrons. You let us know everyday how much the library means to you and we are thrilled to be part of this beautiful community.
