Paul Doherty – pdoherty@larchmontlibrary.org
Head of Reference  – at LPL since 2001. Responsible for Adult programming, Periodicals, the 400s (Language), Graphic Novels, DVDs and Blu-Rays.  Also contact Paul to arrange for delivery of library materials to homebound patrons (a service provided by the Friends of the Larchmont Public Library) and for information about BARD and other services provided by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.

Reference Librarian – joined LPL in January of 2017. Responsible for New Fiction/Express, Adult Fiction, the 100s (Psychology and Philosophy), the 200s (Religion) the 800’s (Literature), Local Authors and Large Print. Alex also manages the Adult Volunteer program and Museum Pass program. She can often be found in the library with an iced coffee in hand.

Reference/Teen Librarian – A Larchmont native, Caroline started at LPL in 2022 after two years at the Mamaroneck Public Library. Responsible for the 300s (Social Sciences), the 600s (Technology, Applied Sciences), Biographies, and downloadable materials (eBooks and Audiobooks). She also works with Kim Larsen in the Teen department.

Reference Librarian – A Larchmont resident, Evgenia landed in her hometown library LPL in July 2024, after working for 4 years in various public libraries throughout Westchester County.
Responsible for the 000s (Computer Science), the 400s (Language), the 500s (Natural sciences and mathematics), 700s (arts & sports), Local History and Travel.

A Larchmont resident for more than 25 years, Kim joined the library in 2013 and became Larchmont’s Teen Librarian shortly thereafter.

Library Publicity

Auriyanna Melendez – amelendez@larchmontlibrary.org
Auriyanna manages all publicity and graphic design work for the library and also curates the Oresman Gallery. Joined LPL in May 2019 as a Page, later becoming a Clerk. She started PR full-time in June 2020. Auriyanna has a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts Illustration from The School of Visual Arts.
