We just wanted to remind our wonderful patrons (and everyone else!) that the Larchmont Library does not accept any book donations. We appreciate that you think of us when wanting to donate but the library simply does not have the room to store excess books. There are a number of local spots to donate books, including some nearby public libraries such as New Rochelle and Mamaroneck.
The same goes for donating jigsaw puzzles- we do not have ample room to store excess puzzles. Each year, we hold two Puzzle Swaps, where people can come to drop off puzzles and pick up new ones. We kindly ask that you hold onto your puzzle donations until we announce an upcoming swap!
Finally, the Children’s Room does accept gently used Children’s books during the library’s hours of operation.
