Starting August 1, 2026, Libby users whose accounts have expired will no longer be able to check out or place holds in their Libby accounts. If you only use the Libby app in your device(s) but haven’t been to the library for more than a year, please make sure your library account is up to date.
Why is this necessary? Libby books are expensive and are paid for by the local taxpayer. The Larchmont Public Library has to confirm that people still living in Larchmont are benefiting from this incredible resource.
For any questions or concerns about Libby or the expiration date of your account please reach out to the Librarians at the reference desk!
