Q. How do I find out if you own a particular item?
A. If you click on the item’s title, a box will pop up which lists the libraries which own that particular item, the shelf location, and at the very end, whether it is checked out or not.
Q. Why do librarians always use words like ” items?” Why can’t you just say “books” like normal people?
A. We handle way more than just books. To list all the different things would take more space than we have here.  “Items” covers most of what we do without being too confusing. Of course when you talk about our databases, they have thousands of items in each one…
