Larchmont Library Wins Best of Westchester 2021

We are proud to announce that Larchmont Library earned Best Library in Westchester County status in Westchester Magazine’s Best of Westchester 2021 issue. Thank you to our patrons for showing their appreciation by voting for our Library! This award is truly special as it comes at the end of a long year of adapting, changing and reinventing Library services nearly nonstop during the pandemic. Our Staff and Trustees worked tirelessly over the past year to continue to provide services in new and inventive ways including; answering reference calls from home, hosting hundreds of programs online and circulating nearly 100k books via curbside pickup on our front lawn. We are happy to be back to ‘nearly normal’ and hope you’ll all stop by this summer to visit us INSIDE the Library, browse our collections, use our public computers, read a magazine or newspaper, participate in our Summer Reading Games for all ages, reserve a conference room for a meeting, find a spot for quiet work and study, or just enjoy our newly updated air conditioning!
