We are proud to announce that Larchmont Library earned Best Library in Westchester County status in Westchester Magazine’s Best of Westchester 2021 issue. Thank you to our patrons for showing their appreciation by voting for our Library! This award is truly special as it comes at the end of a long year of adapting, changing and reinventing Library services nearly nonstop during the pandemic. Our Staff and Trustees worked tirelessly over the past year to continue to provide services in new and inventive ways including; answering reference calls from home, hosting hundreds of programs online and circulating nearly 100k books via curbside pickup on our front lawn.Read More Read More

As many of you know, we often have a cart of discarded ‘New’ and ‘Express’ books for sale in the vestibule for $2 each. We now have a large amount of these recently deleted books with nowhere to go. Starting this Friday, July 31st, we will be holding ‘Free Book Friday’ on the front lawn. We will gather all of the recently deleted New and Express books and place them on carts outside for you to browse through. If any title strikes your fancy, take it, it’s yours!
