New Job Information Center

New Job Information Center

We have a brand new section at the library called the Job Information Center. Located in the Technology Commons, the Job Information Center will have books, study materials, and practice tests for those interested in learning a new skill for a particular job. We have everything from X-Ray Technician to Social Case Worker. This section also includes study books for tests including the GMATs, GREs, MCATs, LSATs, TASC, Civil Service, and more. We are currently adding to this section whenever we can. If you have any suggestions, please let us know.Read More Read More

Our circulating jigsaw puzzles are available on the main floor of the library, in the New Books room, adjacent to the music CDs. The Bruce Museum Pass is Back!

The Bruce Museum Pass is Back!

The Bruce Museum, in Greenwich Connecticut, has reopened after undergoing a major remodeling and expansion project which began in late 2020. The Bruce added a new 44,000 foot wing to their building as well as a cafe, auditorium, indoor garden and spaces for exhibits. Their art collection now includes pieces by Picasso, Matisse, Renoir and Cezanne… just to name a few! The library is delighted to have this pass back in rotation along with our other thirteen museum passes. As always, we have the Friends of the Larchmont Library to thank for their continued support which makes the library’s Museum Pass Program possible.Read More Read More
